Biography
The world was introduced to Mandy Harvey in June 2017 when she walked out on the America’s Got Talent stage. After telling her compelling story she stunned the audience and judges with her original composition “Try”. Before the standing ovation could completely abate and before any of the judges could comment, legendary grump Simon Cowell slammed down the Golden Buzzer and started Mandy’s journey to a semi-final finish on the top-rated show. The clip of that heralded performance has been viewed almost 30 million times on YouTube alone.
Mandy Harvey is a singer, songwriter, musician and performer first and foremost. From an early age Mandy was writing and performing original songs for her friends and family. Due to a connective tissues disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mandy began losing her hearing at an early age. This did not tamp here ambition. Before landing on AGT, Mandy recorded and released several albums, toured extensively, and worked closely with charitable organizations to help people with disabilities overcome obstacles.
The SoNo Recording Group is very pleased Mandy has decided to join our ever-growing roster of artists. Having spent the last year touring the world, Mandy is currently in the studio working on her first collection of new songs since 2014. Fans can expect new music soon!
