We are very excited to announce that R&B group After 7 has joined the SRG/ILS family! Formed in 1988 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds with friend Keith Mitchel, the trio released their self-titled debut platinum selling album on Virgin Records in 1989. The album was produced by L.A. Reid and younger brother Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. Babyface also co-wrote most of the songs including the number one R&B smashes “Can’t Stop” and “Ready Or Not”.
The group has gone on to release 3 more albums including 2016’s Timeless which has scanned almost 40,000 albums and has accumulated 25 million streams.
In 2019 founding member Melvin Edmonds tragically passed away. Kevon, Keith, and Danny enter a new era as a trio determined to grow as artists and honor their brother Melvin. The new album, which will be released later this year, will feature songwriting and production from long time collaborator Babyface and others.
